
Senior Project Manager - Top Local General Contractor

- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, adherence to specifications, and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage and lead a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as estimating, procurement, and accounting, to ensure seamless project coordination.
- Monitor and control project expenses, tracking costs, and implementing cost-saving measures when possible.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits, obtaining necessary approvals and documentation.
- Implement and maintain effective communication channels with all project stakeholders.
- Mitigate risks by proactively identifying potential issues and developing contingency plans.
- Facilitate effective change management processes, managing scope changes and contract modifications.
- Prepare and present regular project progress reports to clients, executives, and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, innovations, and best practices in construction project management.
- Construction related degree
- 5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management
- Multifamily experience a big plus
- Working knowledge of estimating, bidding, client relations, and trades.
- Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
- Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
