Full-Time | Henderson, NV | On-SiteWe are a respected and growing private orthopedic surgery group located in Henderson, Nevada, currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical practice. With five board-certified/eligible orthopedic surgeons and three mid-level providers, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative and efficient environment.The Office Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the overall administrative and business functions of the practice. This position ensures seamless day-to-day operations while supporting clinical excellence, financial health, and a positive work culture.Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of a multi-provider medical office, including front desk, billing, and clinical support functions
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash flow, and vendor relations
  • Oversee credentialing and re-credentialing of providers with insurance carriers and facilities
  • Provide leadership in hiring, onboarding, training, and evaluating administrative staff
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance
  • Monitor and manage practice financials, including profit and loss statements and budget performance
  • Partner with physicians to optimize scheduling, workflow, and patient experience
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Resolve operational or patient service issues promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate maintenance of office infrastructure and equipment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing a medical practice, preferably in orthopedics or a surgical specialty
  • Strong working knowledge of medical billing, credentialing, insurance verification, and healthcare regulations
  • Proven experience with financial management, budgeting, and P&L oversight
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Proficient with EHR and practice management systems (experience with ModMed or similar systems a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing multi-provider or specialty practices
  • Familiarity with orthopedic surgery scheduling and payer credentialing
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
