- Provide bilingual (Spanish/English) speech and language services primarily focusing on the needs of bilingual learners.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students across two self-contained classrooms.
- Conduct Response to Intervention (RTI) for speech in a dual language classroom setting.
- Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking parents regarding evaluations and other matters related to their 3 and 4-year-old children.
- Maintain accurate documentation and the ability to individually adapt lessons to best meet the goals of each student.
- Other duties as assigned
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required (Must possess or be able to obtain before the start of the 2024-25 school year).
- Hold or be eligible for licensure in Illinois.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish is required for this role)
