We're hiring a Horizontal Boring Mill / Boring Bar Machinist to take on complex parts using on of our Kuraki Horizontal Boring Mills.🔧 What You'll Do:Operate and program Horizontal Boring Mills using G-code and CAM softwareSet up and run complex parts to tight tolerancesLoad/unload parts and fixtures using cranes or by handAdjust programs and troubleshoot independentlyCollaborate with your machine partner for efficiency and qualityPerform in-process inspections (micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, etc.)Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, well-oiled machine environmentRead and interpret CMM reports, blueprints, and setup sheetsFollow all 6S, ISO, and safety proceduresTake ownership of quality, scheduling, and machine readiness💪 What You Bring:2+ years of CNC machining experience in a job shop settingProven experience with complex boring mill work and programmingHands-on knowledge of CAM software and G-code programmingHigh School diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferredExcellent mechanical aptitude and familiarity with advanced toolsSelf-motivation and a commitment to continuous improvementAbility to work collaboratively and communicate effectively🎁 What We Offer:Day-shift hours with every Friday afternoon offMinimal travel and overtime requiredTemperature-controlled, 99% indoor work environmentUse of advanced machinery in a clean and organized facilityPPE provided: safety glasses, steel toes, gloves/face shield when neededA company culture built on safety, respect, and skill-building✅ Bonus Points If You:Understand rotary tables and centerlines of rotationCan read and respond to CMM inspection dataEnjoy mentoring or working with a machining partnerThrive in a fast-paced, high-precision job shop setting👉 Apply now at: [Insert careers page or application link]
