Lead and mentor a team of nursing professionals in delivering evidence-based cardiac care
Drive clinical outcomes through the implementation of the Synergy Model and Evidence-Based Practices
Oversee unit operations, including staffing, budgeting, and performance improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with TJC Patient Safety Goals and infection prevention protocols
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient care delivery and safety
Monitor and optimize key performance indicators across patient, employee, and physician satisfaction
Lead quality improvement projects and foster a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
BSN required; MSN or related Master's degree preferred
Current Texas State RN license or compact license
Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care leadership experience
Progressive leadership experience highly valued
National Specialty Certification required (or obtainable within first year)
Current BLS/ACLS certification
Experience in Magnet or Pathways facilities preferred
