- Manage project development of limited complexity from beginning to end.
- Assist in developing project scope, goals and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of project proposals, timeframes, schedules, and budgets.
- Assist in developing project plans and project milestones and associated communications documents.
- Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Collaborate with resource managers to estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Follow recommended approach to set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Identify, refer or escalate unresolved project issues and conflicts for resolution.
- Track project performance and timelines using appropriate tools, templates and processes provided.
- Assist in developing progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Assist in managing changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs using contingency planning activities and other appropriate techniques.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.
- Coordinate project team members and contractors and review their assigned work to verify accurate execution and conformance to procedures.
- Conduct post-project reviews and project lessons learned to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Assist in documenting project management standards and procedures.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and project management best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration, or similar or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Prior demonstrated experience in project coordination or management preferred.
- Familiarity with project management software.
- Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, and other project management methodologies.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in professional services environment.
- Experience with information systems in a client service-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Initiative in working with users, internal teams and third parties.
