Salary: $90,000 $110,000Are you an experienced Human Resources professional with strong union relations expertise? We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead labor relations, employee engagement, compliance, and workforce development at our 24/7 unionized manufacturing facility in Pryor, Oklahoma. This role is perfect for a hands-on HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, industrial environment and is passionate about building strong relationships with both hourly and salaried employees.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Human Resources Manager, you will:Serve as the primary liaison between management and union representatives.Interpret and administer the collective bargaining agreement (CBA).Lead grievance investigations, disciplinary actions, and arbitration processes.Support contract negotiations and drive labor strategy development.Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.Coach supervisors and employees on performance and engagement.Oversee full-cycle HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, retention, and development.Partner with operations to meet 24/7 staffing demands.Manage performance management, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.Ensure compliance with employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, etc.).Maintain HR records, metrics, and reporting accuracy.Collaborate with EHS on safety and wellness programs.Oversee payroll, benefits, and HRIS in partnership with corporate HR.Monitor key HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, engagement) and recommend improvements.Champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.Qualifications & RequirementsWe are looking for a strong HR leader with:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.Proven expertise in union labor relations (contract interpretation, grievance administration, negotiations).SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.Experience in pulp and paper, or similar industrial sectors, strongly preferred.Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.A hands-on, approachable leadership style with urgency and accountability.Why This Opportunity Stands OutStrategic impact Play a key role in shaping labor relations, culture, and workforce strategy.Career growth Advancement opportunities within a well-established manufacturing organization.Dynamic environment Work in a high-impact role at a 24/7 unionized facility.Employee-focused culture Help build a safe, supportive, and high-performing workplace.About Pryor, OklahomaLocated in the heart of Green Country, Pryor is a welcoming community with small-town charm and easy access to Tulsa.
