The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills to partner closely with production personnel and transform design into reality on the factory floor.Required Skills & Qualifications
Applicants must be able to work directly for our company on W2.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering from an ABET or ABET equivalent accredited course of study.
10 or more years of experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering.
5 or more years of experience in prior Engineering Material Review Board.
Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for production non-conformances.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with materials such as steel, aluminum, and titanium, including their strength and capabilities.
Understanding of machining and machining limitations, including geometry and sequencing for material removal.
Proficiency in GD&T and interpreting drawing datums, surfaces, and profiles for tolerancing.
Knowledge of gears/shafts, gear interaction, and material processing techniques such as heat treat and plating.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Analyze and conduct root cause analysis for production non-conformances.
Apply engineering principles to resolve product/process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Develop and implement product/process improvements and support Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with industry standards.
Participate in on-site repair teams, accident investigation, and support teams.
