Claybourne Industries, one of the fastest growing cannabis flower brands in California, is seeking a skilled and responsible Machine Operator to join our team and manage our automatic cannabis pre roll production machine. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the machine, producing high-quality cannabis prerolls, and meeting production goals. This position requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and compliant working environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor automatic cannabis pre roll production machines to ensure smooth and efficient production.
  • Set up, adjust, and calibrate machine settings as necessary to achieve desired output quality and quantity.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the machine to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions promptly.
  • Monitor production process to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the machine, equipment, and surrounding areas.
  • Perform regular maintenance on the machine and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
  • Accurately record production data, including batch records and quality control information.
  • Assist with the packaging and labeling of finished products.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure the safe handling of cannabis materials and products.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain a positive working environment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in a manufacturing or cannabis-related industry.
  • Knowledge of and experience with automated production machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 50 pounds).
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation.
  • Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance is a plus.
Working Conditions:
  • This role may involve standing for extended periods, working in a production environment, and exposure to cannabis materials.
  • Must be willing to work in accordance with the established production schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
  • $17.00 to startpotential pay rate increase after 90 days
  • eligible for health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance) within 60 days of start date.
  • 401K including company match after 90 days of employment.
