  • Acts as a Material Handler and Stocker.
  • Unloads trucks using forklift
  • Moves materials to proper storage locations
  • Moves material to appropriate production locations as needed and directed
  • Loads and unloads materials on or off pallets, racks and/or shelves
  • Follows appropriate loading and unloading procedures
  • Is the first point of contact for production material requests
  • Reports any shortages and/or damages to Head Receiver
  • Enforces and implements all receiving and security procedures and policies
  • Follows instructions from Materials Manager and Head Receiver
  • Can effectively communicate with other Material Handlers and Stockers
  • Ensures/delegates housekeeping duties are met daily.
  • Follows all company Safety procedures
Education and/or Experience:One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent OR at least six months of related experience/training
  • Must have Forklift Certification or be able to pass certification
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned
  • Keeps area neat and clean
  • Reads and use a tape measure
  • Reads blueprints and orders
  • Communicates well with coworkers
  • Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Work Schedule:The typical schedule for this position is 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Schedule may vary depending on production needs and overtime, though kept to a minimum, occasional scheduling changes may be required.Education and/or Experience:One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Competencies:

  • Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
  • Must understand and follow safety procedures
