- Design and develop electrical control systems tailored to project specifications.
- Build, wire, program, and test control panels and systems.
- Utilize a range of technologies including relay logic, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and instrumentation.
- Support both standard and custom work order processing by translating customer specifications into internal manufacturing requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, vendors, project managers, contractors, field representatives, and customers to ensure successful implementation, training, and troubleshooting of electrical designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering OR Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with VFD (Eaton, IMO, Franklin, Turk, etc).
- Electrical design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or Solidworks.
- Ability to read work orders, manuals, specs, wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Experience with PLC editing, troubleshooting, and programming (such as Allen-Bradley 500, IO-Link).
- Electromechanical engineering expertise.
- If no degree, a minimum of 8 years of experience within industrial electrical controls is required.
- Experience with selecting electrical components.
- Proficiency in PLC programming.
