- Serve as project lead and main point of contact for RFP submissions, managing the overall process
- Stay current on client needs and business evolution to maximize client satisfaction
- Understand and adopt the Scripps Sales Process to develop solutions meeting bid requirements
- Ensure proposal responses address all business requirements, challenges, and requested formatting
- Establish efficient cross-functional processes for proposal responses, including routing approvals across teams
- Identify and develop relationships with clients to build rapport before and after awarded business
- Assist in evolving our tech stack to drive scalability and capability to respond to more business
- Maintain current knowledge of products and services across all platforms
- Proactively engage Sales Managers in proposal submissions to maximize opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Track and measure progress on all submissions and addendums, keeping sales staff informed
- Collaborate with Sales staff and management to determine optimal product mix meeting client KPIs and goals
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Generally, 3+ years of experience in related field preferred
- Proven history of successfully securing new advertising/marketing business preferred
- Experience in RFP procurement software preferred
- Knowledge of AI and data analysis techniques to drive efficiencies and identify high-value opportunities
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proposal writing and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to streamline proposal processes and automate workflows
- Excellent customer service skills
