- Drive the company’s objective of continuous growth and improvement in our inspection business in alignment with our annual targets
- Initiate connections with prospective clients for inspection services by efficiently scheduling sales calls, promptly following up on identified leads, and assisting in implementing planned marketing strategies
- Ascertain customer needs by conducting site surveys and discussing your findings with the appropriate customer personnel
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals that address customers’ garage door requirements
- Participate in shaping the pricing strategy for inspection accounts
- Manage and document the APi Garage Door business plan, and participate in monthly sales meetings
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system
- Cultivate and sustain an active proposal pipeline to align with the established sales business plan
- Build genuine and lasting customer relationships that meet and surpass customer expectations
- Organize and lead customer presentations “lunch and learns”, and other activities to foster relationships
- Continuously improve your knowledge of APi Garage Door pricing strategies, worksheets, and contractual terms
- Collaborate closely with the APi Garage Door Inspection Sales Leader to ensure alignment with priorities
- Regularly assess if you are securing the right work with the right customers
- Stay updated on industry best practices, competitor offerings, and new service sales trends to ensure a competitive advantage
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or a related field; or 2 years of industry experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM)
- Sales experience related to garage doors, or construction is a plus
- Business development and/or marketing experience is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong written and oral communication skills are a must
- Sign on Bonus up to $5,000 available, depending on experience level
- 120 hours PTO per year, which begins accruing at point of hire
