- Position: Acute Care Registered Nurse ICU (Locum Tenens)
- Setting: Level 2 Intensive Care Unit
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
- Start Date: October 6, 2025
- End Date: February 7, 2026
- Contract Duration: 18 weeks
- Shift: Per diem, 12-hour shifts (minimum two shifts/month, including at least one weekend shift)
- Holiday Coverage: Full holiday season coverage required; no guaranteed time off for major holidays
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,880 - $2,020
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA/RQI only)
- NIHSS certification
- Basic Coronary Care certification (within 6 months of hire)
- CPI certification (within 90 days of hire)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Computer literacy; EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- TNCC and Emergency Nurses Association certification recommended within 2 years of hire
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a Level 2 ICU
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a diverse patient population
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and healing environment
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Participate in clinical orientation and ongoing nursing education
- Demonstrate teamwork and contribute to a positive healthcare work culture
