• Location: Geneva, NY 14456 (Upstate New York healthcare jobs)
• Position: Acute Care Registered Nurse – ICU (Locum Tenens)
• Setting: Level 2 Intensive Care Unit
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: February 7, 2026
• Contract Duration: 18 weeks
• Shift: Per diem, 12-hour shifts (minimum two shifts/month, including at least one weekend shift)
• Holiday Coverage: Full holiday season coverage required; no guaranteed time off for major holidays
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,880 - $2,020

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA/RQI only)
• NIHSS certification
• Basic Coronary Care certification (within 6 months of hire)
• CPI certification (within 90 days of hire)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Computer literacy; EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• TNCC and Emergency Nurses Association certification recommended within 2 years of hire

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a Level 2 ICU
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a diverse patient population
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and healing environment
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Participate in clinical orientation and ongoing nursing education
• Demonstrate teamwork and contribute to a positive healthcare work culture
