With an IA (Inspection Authorization), this position will pay up to $34.00 per hour.Overtime hours available during our busier season from June - September.What do our Aircraft Maintenance Technicians do?An Aircraft Maintenance Technician performs all field and other related work required to service each of the company's customers and to help the business grow by performing the following duties personally.Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer's instructions, and company policiesPerform inspections and maintenance on all planes including: Piper Aztec PA23-250, Piper Navajo Chieftain PA31-350, Cessna 188, Air Tract 502BEnsure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entriesFollow all policies and proceduresKeep a clean and orderly work environmentPerform job duties in a safe mannerPerform other duties as assignedIs willing to do what it takes to get the job done with a positive attitudeKnowledge of light twin aircraftWhat do you need?(A&P) License - required1 year of direct expereince working on single or twin engine Lycoming or Continental engines - preferredExpereince working with sheet metal, riveting, managing sheet metal repair projects on aircrafts - preferredHigh school diploma or GEDStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnHave proficient writing and verbal skillsAvailable to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as neededAbility to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.The work requires strenuous physical exertion and the employee may be required to drive, stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel and crouch for extended periods of time, as well as see, talk, hear and use hands and arms to grasp, handle, reach and feel.Knowledge and understanding of FAA airworthiness requirementsKnowledge and understanding of FAA part 91 requiredMust pass pre-employment background screen and drug testMust possess a valid driver's license and pass motor vehicle record search#RTX100Base Pay Range Hourly: $25.00 - $32.00While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
