We are currently looking to add a motivated Survey Crew Chief to our passionate team of Civil Engineering and Surveying professionals. Responsible for all aspects of survey related field operation for residential and commercial land development projects, stream and environmental restoration projects and various utility projects.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Must be client focused and team oriented.

  • Knowledge of current surveying technologies including conventional surveying instruments and GNSS equipment.

  • Ability to provide guidance to junior-level staff on objectives, critical issues and concepts.
  • Ability to interact with internal staff and customers as needed on project related issues.
Supervisory ResponsibilityWill work with junior level surveyors, interns or technicians.Operate and maintain company provided survey vehicle.Vehicle may be provided for transportation to and from home/work after grace period.Work Environment/Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full time field position and will require the candidate to perform their duties in many different weather conditions. There is a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. Hours may be flexible based on circumstance. There may be a requirement for overtime based on work load.TravelMinimal to no overnight travel is anticipated for this position.Required Education and Experience
  • High school or equivalent minimum.
  • 8-10 years of full-time crew chief work experience.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus but not required.
