Responsibilities
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.
  • Work with upper management to prioritize business and information needs and identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets based on those needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities, and productivity measures for the individual Business Units.
  • Manage and query relational databases and monitor for trends, errors and inconsistencies.
  • Create data visualizations to enable management team to make informed business decisions.
  • Analyze data and identify opportunities to support successful reporting enhancements.
  • Create and present ad hoc data analysis, reports and dashboards to inform members of management on sales metrics.
  • Develop predictive models that help make triaging, pricing or other business decisions.
  • Develop Tableau dashboards and visualization on customer engagement, revenue and promotions to measure the impacts of various business actions.
  • Act as the technical SME for groups across the business in regards to sources data, customer process, data manipulation, and analysis techniques(modeling, predictive analytics and data science)
  • Conduct exploratory analytics to understand data anomalies and elevate meaningful observations for further analysis.
  • Maintain integrity and quality of data and assure data conformity meets operational requirements and goals.
  • Assist in planning, establishing and monitoring criteria for data collection.
  • Ensure report requirements are translated, formatted and integrated into project design and is understood by key stakeholders.
  • Research Industry data to accurately and granularly classify spend into industry-specific schema.
  • Build data intelligence around business rules to deliver reportable and actionable information to business leaders.
  • Create and automate monthly and quarterly sales reports.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in business or finance
  • A minimum of two years’ experience preferably in the healthcare or insurance field.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and respond to managements’ directions accurately.
  • Must possess advanced skills in Excel, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INEX/MATCH and data tables.
  • Must be able to intuitively understand if data looks correct and use a variety of tools and techniques to accomplish data validation and visualization.
  • Must have advanced skills in SQL, PowerPoint, Tableau, SAS and VBA.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. Look for ways to improve and promote quality and monitor own work to ensure quality is met.
  • Must demonstrate effective communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is needed.
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to demonstrate team behavior and promote a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to stay focused and concentrate in close quarters under normal or heavy distractions; must be able to work well under pressure and or stressful conditions.
  • Adapt to change in work environment with the ability to manage change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Ability to follow all company policies and procedures in effect at time of hire and as they may change or be added from time to time.
