We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Events & Philanthropy who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and storytelling. You’ll be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering high-impact experiences that engage our global team and strengthen our community presence in places where our team members live and work around the world, all through the lens of the company’s values that make Global Payments a leading payments technology company.Reporting to the Director, Team Member Engagement & Philanthropy, this role will work closely with the Internal Communications and Executive teams and will be a member of the broader Corporate Communications & Marketing team.This role is responsible for the ideation and creation of strategic corporate guidelines, templates and additional resources, working closely with internal points of contact across geographies and offices in order to bring these visions to life and scale team member events globally. This role will also serve as the primary execution person in Atlanta, where Global Payments is headquartered.To be successful, this individual must be able to operate at a strategic level and be a true team partner and collaborator. This position is ideal for someone with exceptional project management skills, impeccable attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple high-level projects at the same time, knows how to prioritize projects, and is an excellent writer who can craft engaging communications—someone who can think big and execute flawlessly. The ideal candidate also needs to have experience in working closely with C-suite executives.What Part Will You Play?EVENTSDesign and execute enterprise-level event strategies that support team member engagement, recognition, and corporate initiatives. This includes collaborating with points of contacts across our offices globally and executing locally in Atlanta.Responsible for the worldwide development, beginning to end creation, management and execution of events for team members and key internal stakeholders that support engagement, strategy and rewards and recognition. This includes the company’s annual sales incentive trip, annual rewards & recognition programs, C-suite strategy meetings, metro Atlanta holiday party and more.PHILANTHROPYCreate and implement a global philanthropic strategy that aligns with the company’s four global community pillars, ensuring relevance and resonance in the communities where our team members live and work.Oversee all charitable initiatives, including the company’s charitable giving budget, that represent Global Payments as a socially responsible organization aligned with the company’s values, culture and community pillars; including Company partnerships, corporate giving, employee volunteer programs, and employee giving programs.GENERALLead complex timelines, logistics, budgets, and vendor coordination with strong organization and attention to every detail, often with competing priorities and shifting expectations, ensuring excellence in execution across global touchpoints.Craft executive decks, internal announcements, and compelling messaging that elevates both events and community impact initiatives which are polished, persuasive, and professional.Assess program effectiveness, track KPIs, and provide insights that help scale successful initiatives across regions.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related fieldMinimum of 5+ years relevant experience leading high-visibility, large-scale events (corporate/international experience preferred)Proven project management success in fast-paced environmentsExperience with corporate social responsibility or philanthropic program designStrong executive presence and experience supporting C-suite leadersTeam management, as this role has direct reportsWriting and content developmentWorks well under pressure, works autonomously and is able to meet tight deadlinesFinancial services or technology industry experience is a plusBenefits:
