As a Festival Foods Frozen Foods & Dairy Associate, you will:
- Provide Helpful Guest Service: Providing excellent customer service is at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you’ll handle each interaction with professionalism and care. Your willingness to help guests with what they need will make a positive impact every day.
- Assist with Product Requests: Help guests find specific frozen or dairy items, taking special orders when needed.
- Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the sales floor is neat, tidy, and free of spills. Regularly stock and maintain product levels in accordance with company standards.
- Efficient Inventory Management: Follow the first in, first out method to rotate stock, ensuring all products are properly stocked and displayed.
- Ensure Product Availability: Ensure products are always available by filling items on display and checking inventory levels to meet department goals.
- Support Department Standards: Maintain the quality of the Frozen/Dairy department by meeting all expectations for product availability, quality, and cleanliness.
- Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
- Support the Team: Other duties as assigned
- Effective Communication Skills: Ability to interact tactfully and professionally with both guests, leaders and retail sales associate team members.
- Safety Awareness: Full understanding of safety protocols and company policies, including the ability to recognize and address potential safety hazards on the store premises.
- Equipment Knowledge: Knowledge of ability to learn equipment and procedures such as proper lifting techniques, trash compactors, balers, and power equipment.
- Stand in place for a long period of time, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly
- Full range of upper body motion
- Lifting up to 50 pounds on an consistent basis
- Weekly Pay & Premium Pay: Hourly associates are paid weekly, providing more frequent access to their funds. Part-time store associates are paid a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Hourly full-time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.
- Two-Week Advanced Scheduling: Better Planning. Better Balance. We provide our associates with their schedules two weeks in advance, offering greater predictability & flexibility.
