- Utilizing the Aircraft Sustainability Model (ASM) and other analytical models to assess operational capability, compute spare parts requirements, and stock leveling to forecast and optimize cost
- Analyzing logistics, supply chain, and weapon systems to support logistics operations, including math modeling, logistics operations research, and systems analysis and programming
- Advise and assist client in developing and managing effective and affordable solutions across the weapon system’s lifecycle
- Develop, integrate and manage complex integrated master schedules, risk-informed product support timelines, and planning for major USAF weapon systems
- Apply expert-level knowledge of schedule management, logistics integration, and risk analysis in support of long-term program success
- Collaborating with program offices, depot teams, contractors, and IPTs to synchronize product support milestones with broader acquisition and sustainment timelines
- Performing critical path analysis, variance tracking, schedule risk assessments, and identifying potential schedule conflicts impacting cost, readiness, or delivery
- Performing schedule risk assessments using qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., Monte Carlo simulation, confidence level analysis) to identify and mitigate critical-path threats.
- Briefing senior leadership on schedule risk posture, mitigation plans, and time-sensitive corrective actions affecting cost, performance, or readiness
- Supporting maintenance planning concepts and analyzing and delivering recommendations for adjustment which include areas for improvement in optimizing maintenance intervention to meet supportability and affordability goals
- Analyzing government agency logistics and supply chain policies and procedures against current performance metrics and making recommendations on policy and/or process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting logistics, supply chain, product support, or related fields within the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Ability to demonstrate high degree of proficiency in Aircraft Sustainability Model
- Knowledge of commercially based advanced modeling, networking, scheduling and inventory optimization systems and techniques to support development of supply, inventory management, and distribution policy to improve materiel management of spare parts inventories
- Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of DoD logistics, supply chain and acquisition processes
- Expert use of schedule tools (Microsoft Project) and risk tools (e.g., @Risk, Acumen Risk, Monte Carlo analysis tools)
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written
- Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities
- Must be available for occasional travel
- Applicants must hold a current U.S. Government TOP SECRET clearance
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Certification in logistics, supply chain, Acquisition or related disciplines
- Expertise in Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) and Product Support life cycle management tools
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to influence and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and drive organizational change
