- Be responsible for processing hourly and salaried payrolls, off-cycles and equity transactions.
- Partner internally with Finance, People Operations, Total Rewards, Legal, Equity, and externally with our Third Party Administrators.
- Respond to employee inquiries within the set SLA.
- Assist with the Employee Retirement Contribution process, including providing data for audits, reconciling contributions and maintaining data integrity in Workday.
- Partnering with ADP to respond and resolve tax notices, government correspondences, and wage garnishment orders.
- Assist with Employee Data Reporting and Tax Filings, including the W-2 Filing review and audit.
- Assist with the Payroll Journal Entry and reconciliation of the accrued comp and tax accounts.
- Perform Qualification Acceptance Testing (QAT) for changes in Workday caused by the Workday Releases or changes to business requirements.
- Respond to data requests from internal and external partners.
- 2+ years of experience processing Payroll with knowledge of federal, state, and local tax concepts in a multi-state environment.
- Experience processing Payroll using a major HCM (i.e. SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, Oracle)
- Experience processing payment solutions, wage garnishments and employment tax with a third party provider (i.e. ADP, Paychex, etc.)
- Ability to process SOX and Internal Audit data requests and walk-throughs
- Experience performing Journal Entries and Reconciliations
- Knowledge of Equity Compensation and Taxability
- Understanding of Payroll Taxes, including tax filings and registrations
