We are seeking a Board-Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician for a full-time leadership opportunity in Phoenix, AZ. This position combines direct patient care with medical directorship responsibilities, offering an excellent balance of clinical practice and program leadership.Role HighlightsMonday–Friday schedule with flexible hoursNo primary night call (hospitalist/IM team handles admissions)Collaborative environment with primary care, advanced practice clinicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapistsMedical directorship responsibilities with opportunities to influence quality initiatives and patient outcomesChance to make a meaningful impact on patient care, rehabilitation programs, and organizational growthKey ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive rehabilitation medicine services including spasticity and pain management, adaptive device prescriptions, and functional goal-settingReduce reliance on opioids through alternative modalities and medication approachesLead and participate in medical directorship meetingsEducate clinical staff on rehabilitation processes and best practicesOversee and advance program quality metrics and clinical initiativesQualificationsBoard Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation requiredStrong leadership, collaboration, and communication skillsPrevious medical directorship or rehab leadership experience preferredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary: $200,000 – $270,000 DOEUncapped bonus structureSign-on bonus and relocation incentives availableComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirementPaid professional liability insurance with tail coverageCME and licensure reimbursementLeadership training, MIPS onboarding support, and CME opportunitiesGrowth opportunities for local and national leadership rolesWhy Phoenix?
