
Quality Control Inspector I

- Perform dimensional inspections using standard tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Conduct visual inspections for obvious defects in accordance with documented criteria.
- Document inspection results accurately and completely in quality records.
- Tag, segregate, and report nonconforming material to senior inspectors or supervisors for disposition.
- Assist with review of First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation under guidance from senior inspectors.
- Review and verify supplier documentation for completeness.
- Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures at all times.
- Maintain inspection tools, gauges, and work area in clean and organized condition.
- Support Quality Management System (QMS) compliance activities as directed.
- Participate in basic training for GD&T, AS9100/AS13100, and aerospace inspection requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree or 4+ years of on-the-job experience in lieu of education
- 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, assembly, or quality inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications (training provided).
- Detailed oriented, self-motivated, and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass documented color and near vision exam.
- Eligible to work in the United States under Export Control compliance requirements.
- Previous inspection or manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace or defense.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards.
- Exposure to basic GD&T principles.
- Experience working in a team environment with focus on quality and safety.
- The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
