
BOULDER LEAD KITCHEN WORKER/DISHWASHER

- Assist with training and developing department staff, as assigned
- Provide direction to assigned staff and oversee projects assigned to staff
- Act as a liaison, as necessary, between line staff and departmental leadership to ensure leadership is aware of any challenges with job performance, staffing levels, and/or job tasks
- Maintain a positive working relationship with the Health Department and adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Use correct chemicals for designated items for cleaning and sanitizing various surfaces according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
- Operate and maintain various machines such as dish washing machines, garbage disposals, sinks, grills, broilers, pots, pans, utensils and all other kitchen equipment and surfaces including the breakdown of machines
- Assist with the execution of preventative maintenance procedures and ensures they are properly conducted on the assigned shift
- Ensure staff has all necessary tools to effectively perform their job duties
- Transport garbage containers and all other debris from the kitchen area to designated dumpsters
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1 year of previous experience leading employees in food & beverage sanitation, preferably in a Stewarding department
- Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to effectively communicate and lead in small groups, as well as on an individual-basis
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Able to obtain ServSafe certifications within 6 months of employment
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
