Position SummaryA CDL Driver is responsible for the operations of a low-boy, flatbed, or other sized truck to deliver heavy equipment and materials to various job sites. This position is responsible for the safe transportation of all equipment/materials, loading/unloading, and securing equipment to trailers.Duties and Responsibilities IncludeEssential Duties:
Drives truck with trailer, hauling equipment to and from garage/storage to work sites
Positions chains, straps, and binders to secure loads during transit
Loads and unloads equipment on trailers
Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
Maintains logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations
Maintains and checks truck, trailer, and supplies to ensure road-worthiness
Performs minor emergency roadside repairs as needed
Works various shifts based on the needs of the job

Previous experience in construction or similar environment
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a Truck Driver, preferably for a low-bed hauler
