Description
  • Conduct comprehensive market sizing analyses for existing and potential network APIs
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the API landscape, bringing to bear industry trends, competitive intelligence, and customer needs.
  • Develop detailed cases, including revenue projections, cost analyses, and value assessments for proposed API products.
  • Perform competitive analysis to understand market positioning, pricing strategies, and product offerings of key players in the API ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and sales teams to translate market insights into actionable product requirements and go-to-market strategies.
  • Gather and analyze market data, including customer surveys, industry reports, and internal sales data, to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with network APIs, operator networks, and the broader API economy.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI platforms) and market research tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate analytical insights into business recommendations.
Job responsibilities
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, market research, or product strategy, preferably within the telecommunications or technology industry.
  • Proven experience with market sizing methodologies and opportunity identification.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
