- Use basic hand and power tools.
- Read blueprints and schematics correctly.
- Utilize safety in all areas of the work environment.
- Perform pipe fitter skills.
- Perform hydraulic and pneumatic skills.
- Perform rigging skills.
- Operate equipment (mobile crane, forklift, man-lift)
- Perform repairs on pumps, motors, fan, compressors, boilers, conveyors, power transmission (including setting and alignment)
- Perform welding skills.
- Perform combustion skills.
- Fabricate & install sheet metal & structures.
- Use personal computer for obtaining information, documenting time, etc.
- Perform housekeeping.
- Participate in all required training, safety activities.
- Perform equipment and system troubleshooting as required.
- Understand and apply Alcoa business systems principles.
