- CMMS Oversight (Service Channel):
- Manage and continuously improve the use of our CMMS platform for scheduling, tracking, and reporting all maintenance activities.
- Monitor service requests and work orders to ensure timely resolution and quality standards.
- Manage or delegate helpdesk work orders related to basic IT and technical support needs across restaurant locations, ensuring efficient follow-through and communication with support teams.
- Preventive Maintenance Program:
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce costly repairs.
- Ensure consistent maintenance standards across all restaurant locations.
- Repairs & Incident Management:
- Coordinate and respond to urgent maintenance needs and facility-related incidents, including evenings and weekends.
- Serve as the primary contact for emergency facility issues.
- Team Leadership & Vendor Coordination:
- Supervise a small internal maintenance team, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
- Manage and maintain positive relationships with external service providers and contractors.
- Travel & On-Site Presence:
- Regular travel (minimum 25%) to restaurant locations for inspections, project oversight, and urgent needs.
- Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement will be provided.
- Administrative & Budget Oversight:
- Manage budgets for maintenance operations, track expenditures, and support cost-effective decision-making.
- Ensure documentation and compliance with safety regulations, health codes, and internal standards.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in facility maintenance or operations.
- Solid working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Willingness to travel frequently and handle emergency calls after hours.
- Experience working in and managing a CMMS, preferably Service Channel.
- Prior experience with multi-unit restaurant or hospitality facilities.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial kitchen and cooking equipment (e.g., ovens, fryers, dish machines, refrigeration).
- Relevant trade certifications (e.g., EPA Section 608, HVACR certification, electrical journeyman license, plumbing license).
- Leadership experience with direct reports and vendor management.
