- Lead the systemisation, automation, process enhancement and continuous improvement agenda of the Commercial function. In particular, oversee the governance & continuous improvement of all sales tools (e.g., C4C - CRM, SAP, Master Data maintenance, etc.).
- Support the development of, and execute, the multi-year roadmap for the Commercial function that synthesizes product and sector strategies with individual customer strategies, as well as the functional commercial strategies that enable delivery of the overall business strategy.
- Provide critical insights on all aspects of the commercial organization's performance, as well as on its customers and markets.
- Be the custodian of our pipeline management process, and associated reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to showcase the value of a pipeline-oriented culture.
- Leverage insights and best practices to refine the design and implementation of sales management and go-to-market effectiveness within the Commercial function.
- Coordinate across key elements of the Commercial function:
- Commercial's role in cross-functional processes (pricing, S&OP, information sharing, annual planning, etc.),
- Strategic development and on-going usage of all commercial systems (e.g., CRM), sales methodologies and data analytics tools
- Definition and maintenance of GN customer-segmentation model and segment strategy
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance, or a related field and 5+ years related experience
- Strong knowledge of C4C (CRM), SAP Analytics Cloud and Microsoft 365, particularly Excel
- Supervisory experience; this role will oversee 2-3 employees
- Ability to effectively navigate a heavily matrixed organization to progress the commercial agenda
