Job Position: Machine OperatorLocation: Huntley, IL 60142Pay Rate: $18.50 - $19.00/hr BOEShift: 7:00am - 3:30pmDescription:Reads work orders and follows the specific work requirements and machining instructions according to customer specificationsSet up machines to grind rails to a specific lengthDisassembles ballnuts from shaftsVisually inspects each part before and after machining. Removes and sets aside all non-conforming products as pre inspection control planPerforms routine maintenance on machinesCompletes required job tickets in a safe and efficient mannerReports all non-conforming parts to their SupervisorLoads individual parts per job specifications into their designated storage areasMaintains a safe, clean and organized work areaPerforms other work duties or functions as assignedCleans parts with finishedMeasure products using a digital caliper and tape measureOther duties as assignedQualifications:Ability to read simple drawings with tolerancesMust be able to perform physical duties: standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, etc.Carrying and/or lifting up to 50 poundsMeticulous attention to detailGood written and verbal communication skillsGood manual dexterity and agilityStrong basic math skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience with using the metric system and inspection tools (i.e. Calipers)Ability to read a tape measureBasic computer skills
