- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating all unit functions during your shift
- Support efficient patient throughput by assisting with admissions and discharges
- Collaborate with management and subject matter experts to assess and improve care quality
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence
- Lead service recovery efforts and promote a patient-first philosophy
- Support nursing engagement strategies including hourly rounding and employee feedback
- Provide input on hiring, training, and performance management
- Assist with scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs
- Help manage inventory and ensure proper use of supplies and equipment
- Recent acute care experience in Med-Surg or Ortho-Trauma is required
- Must currently be working in Med-Surg or have at least 2 years of recent staff RN experience in that setting
- Prior charge nurse experience in acute care strongly preferred
- RN diploma required; BSN preferred
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- CPI certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Participation in professional organizations encouraged
