Child and Family Therapist Private PracticeAre you committed to providing high-quality care to children and families? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for a licensed therapist who can provide clients with long-term strategies to improve their relationships. You will have the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills for success in this position through a comprehensive curriculum of training materials and case consultations. As a Child and Family Therapist, you will start part-time (working up to 15 to 20 hours per week) and grow into a full-time and salaried position as your caseload increases. If you have 1-3 years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, and families, and are currently licensed as an LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist), LPCC (licensed professional clinical counselor), or Ph.D. (licensed psychologist), please apply now!This role will start as part-time, with the expectation of transitioning into full-time. Compensation:$65 - $78 hourly Responsibilities:
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of patients in compliance with facility and license requirements
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all face-to-face interactions, as well as on the telephone, via virtual meetings, and on social media
  • Establish a strong rapport with clients to foster a healthy professional relationship
  • Complete intake assessments, which include documentation such as Mental Status Exams, intake paperwork, and other assessments
  • Communicate with referral sources as well as primary care physicians (PCP) after initial intake, and as needed for ongoing care of clients
  • Complete timesheet daily, reflecting billable hours worked by the end of the day
  • Maintain clients’ charts and keep complete and correct documentation
  • Exercise sound clinical and professional judgment
  • Attend all training as outlined in the Clinical Training spreadsheet
Qualifications:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required
  • High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; master's degree preferred
  • State license that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) or equivalent
  • Must have 1-3 years of marriage and family therapy experience in a clinical setting
  • Licensed therapist: LMFT, LPCC, Psychologist
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working with children 5 years and up
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working with families
