Our unique business model, combined with our dedication to delivering the highest quality products, enables team members to contribute in a larger capacity than is possible in typical positions.Position DescriptionAs an SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Functional Analyst, you will play a critical role in enhancing Applied Medical’s facilities and equipment maintenance operations by optimizing SAP’s Plant Maintenance and Enterprise Asset Management capabilities. You will partner with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support solutions that improve asset reliability, reduce downtime, and streamline maintenance processes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the systems specialist and functional owner of SAP Plant Maintenance, responsible for system configuration, improvements, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with Facilities, Maintenance, and Calibration teams to understand operational needs and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
  • Analyze and improve business processes related to asset management, work order execution, and preventive maintenance planning.
  • Design and prototype SAP solutions, develop functional specifications, and lead implementation efforts.
  • Maintain and enhance equipment master data, functional locations, and maintenance plans to ensure data integrity and usability.
  • Support SAP PM integration with other modules such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Quality Management (QM).
  • Develop training materials and provide end-user support to drive adoption and ensure effective use of SAP Plant Maintenance.
  • Participate in software validation activities to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Position RequirementsThis position requires the following skills and attributes:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience configuring and implementing SAP Plant Maintenance/Enterprise Asset Management.
  • Deep understanding of maintenance processes and asset lifecycle management, including maintenance planning, work orders, notifications, task lists, and reporting.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills with a collaborative, customer-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to lead SAP PM initiatives and act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-environment, manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving business needs.
PreferredThe following skills and attributes are preferred:
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, cross-functional modules, and Fiori applications.
  • Familiarity with software validation and regulated environments.
  • SAP certification in Plant Maintenance, Asset Management, or related areas.
