- Leads the process of defining and communicating the Business’ values/principles, vision, and mission.
- Leads the development and deployment of a comprehensive strategic business plan which integrates the business’ values, mission, resources, and goals.
- Facilitates the hiring, development, evaluation, and effectiveness of the management team.
- Oversees the evaluation, allocation, and management of human, physical and financial resources to fulfill the stakeholders’ expectations.
- Coordinates and delegates management activities through the management team.
- Ensures appropriate communications take place throughout the organization and chairs regular management staff meetings, business review meetings, etc.
- Exercises appropriate decision-making authority to ensure the organization moves forward in implementing the business plan and achieving its objectives.
- Implements sound business practices and processes to achieve the Business’ objectives.
- Ensures the Business’ reputation and image in the community is consistent with its objectives and that business relationships with all stakeholders are not compromised.
- Strong leadership background
- Passion to coach a team of highly functioning people
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Works well with teams, and competent in problem solving and decision making
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business or related field preferred
