Position SummaryGuggenheim Investments is seeking an Associate Product Analyst to join its UIT Product Development and Management team. Reporting to the Director of UIT Product, this person will join a highly collaborative team responsible for the development, execution, maintenance and support of the UIT product line. Requiring an individual with a highly evolved analytical skill set, the key areas of responsibility for the role will include: 1) providing critical competitive and product analysis support to sales, marketing customer firms and investment teams; 2) producing detailed product analysis and competitive analytics and; 3) operational and administrative oversight of various internal product databases and systems, product reports and presentations, among other things.The Associate Product Analyst role presents an opportunity for a motivated candidate to participate in, and contribute to the growth of the organization and success of the business.This position will be located in Bayside, NY office.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
  • Connect the distribution and investment elements of the organization by serving as a de facto an extension of the UIT Product team through product knowledge and messaging capacities.
  • Analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities for specific investment products to help drive the marketing and product strategy.
  • Contribute to all aspects of the product management effort across the entire product line, with an emphasis on positioning and differentiating our products relative to leading peers.
  • Respond to product inquiries from external and internal wholesalers, institutional and international wealth sales teams, as well as other business partners across the organization.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop, enhance or update product support materials and sales literature.
  • Generate analytical reports, data content, and competitive analyses using various data systems.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis supporting strategic corporate growth initiatives of the firm.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or economics
  • 1-5 years of related experience
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Client facing or customer facing experience
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • PowerPoint proficiency
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Investment Product experience and/or broker-dealer experience necessary
Preferred Qualifications
  • Series 7 registered preferred
  • Proactive & solutions-oriented; innovative
  • Collaborative, energized by the open exchange of ideas
  • UIT industry experience
  • Project management with proven ability to execute tasks independently
