You'll be spending 24 hours per week at the bedside, guided by a super experienced preceptor. Imagine being right there, in the heart of the action, in one of our six lively Emergency Departments within the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Region.Get Pumped for What's Coming:Here's a sneak peek at the incredible stuff you'll be rocking:You'll become a pro at assessing adult and child trauma patients, following the Trauma Nursing Process like a boss. Fancy some certifications? You got it! Join the crew for the Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum (TNCC) and Emergency Care of the Pediatric patient (ENPC) – impressive badges for your nursing superhero cape. Brace yourself for adrenaline-pumping simulations. You'll be handling emergencies like a seasoned pro, taking care of adults and kids like the hero you are. Team up with your awesome preceptor to give top-notch care in the fast-paced Emergency Department – this is where the magic happens. Ever heard of Emergency Severity Index? What You’ll Need
  • New Grad or Less than 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
