This case is for a 13 month old little girl out of Seabrook, NH. Her family is looking for Mondays (anytime), Weekends, and evenings during the week (5-9/10PM). This sweet little girl has graduated off of her oxygen as well as her heart meds, so now only needs 3 medications administered. She also has a G-tube and has started taking liquids by mouth! This family has mom and grandma helping out with her care, but they are unfortunately getting burnt out. They would love some assistance! Join us and make a difference.Private Duty Nurses are Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who meet state and federal licensing requirements. They assess and evaluate clients and provide services as indicated by the Plan of Care. Working collaboratively with the Director of Nursing (DON), they update and implement each client’s Plan of Care as appropriate. Private Duty Nurses keep clients healthy and improve the quality of their lives. They engage their clients’ family members to support the overall well-being of their clients. They advocate for their client’s needs with physicians and other ancillary providers. In some cases, they may work with a multidisciplinary team of caregivers to assure their clients receive the level of care and services they need to continue living safely and comfortably in their homes.Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
  • Current licensed Registered Nurse in NH OR LPN
  • Preferred: ASN or related degree
  • One or more years of experience in clinical home health services, or equivalent
  • Excellent problem-solving ability, organizational skills and capacity to work independently or as a team
  • Demonstrated competence in applying processes designed to ensure adherence to all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sensitivity to the special needs of older adults and related stress they and their family members may experience
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
