As a Project Manager at IPS, you’ll play a key role in bringing these projects to life—overseeing everything from planning to closeout. - Own project profitability: scope, budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation
- Review proposals and plans to determine project strategy and staffing
- Manage financials: contracts, billing, T&M documentation, and change orders
- Oversee daily operations: schedules, labor tracking, material procurement, subcontractor coordination, safety reports, timecards, and daily logs
- Ensure accurate and timely submittals, RFIs, O&M manuals, toolbox talks, THAs, and closeout documentation
- Lead internal and external communication: status reporting, client relations, inspections, and team coordination
- Direct and support project personnel including Assistant Project Managers and Coordinators
- Maintain alignment with all corporate policies, procedures, and Core Values
- 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training, or 4+ years related experience
- Minimum 8 years of construction and/or project management experience in electrical or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of NEC, industry codes, construction practices, and field operations
- Valid driver’s license and clean record for secure site access
- Skilled with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Planner); Bluebeam preferred
- Experience with McCormick estimating, Foundation software, or CAD a plus
- Maintain favorable margin on projects
- Ensure billing accuracy and average DSO under 45 days
- Achieve on-time project delivery
- Meet or exceed project closeout scores for documentation, coordination, and communication
- Provide compliance with the required reporting and project documentation
