This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with over 10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, particularly with Cisco technologies, cloud networking, and network security. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure, scalable, and resilient network infrastructure that supports our global operations.You will:
  • Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, cloud environments, and remote sites.
  • Manage and optimize Cisco-based routing, switching, wireless, and firewall platforms.
  • Lead initiatives in Microsoft Azure virtual networking and load balancing.
  • Oversee WAN routing using Cisco vManage SD-WAN, Catalyst Center, and NX-OS environments.
  • Administer Cisco Firepower firewalls, ISE identity services.
  • Plan, deploy, and tune Wireless LAN infrastructure.
  • Manage BGP routing, DNS, and both public and private certificate infrastructures.
  • Coordinate circuit provisioning, turn-up, and lifecycle management.
  • Conduct network capacity planning and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
  • Provide Tier 3 support and mentorship to other network staff and IT infrastructure operations team members.
Key Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
  • Expert-level knowledge of:
  • Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud Networking & Load Balancing
  • Cisco SD-WAN, Catalyst Center, NX-OS
  • Cisco Firepower, ISE, and ThousandEyes
  • Wireless LAN design and optimization
  • BGP, DNS, and Certificate Management
  • Circuit provisioning and network capacity planning
  • Experience with network automation and scripting using: Python, Ansible and Terraform
Compensation:For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $110700 - $205600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
