Your OpportunityThis full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Thermal-Hydraulics Engineering Supervisor in Lynchburg, VA (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the IB-PE Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. The Thermal-Hydraulics Team is responsible for the thermal-hydraulic analysis of plant systems and components, including Primary Loop and Balance-of-Plant (BOP) systems and components. Expertise within the group include flow modeling and hydraulic analysis, fluid transient analysis, water hammer evaluation, CFD modeling, flow-induced vibration analysis, and advanced software development. The Supervisor provides daily front-line supervision, leadership, and advanced technical support for a team of engineers. Your scope of work typically includes planning and scheduling work, supervising workflow, and adherence to budget. The role supervises the execution of engineering processes, reviews progress, and updates management, as needed. The Supervisor will also be responsible for conducting staff appraisals.Your work will include:

  • Works on special projects, as directed.
