Position Summary... As the Senior Manager, Offsite Energy Investments, you will play a key role in shaping Walmart's global grid-scale energy investment strategy. In this position, you will enable energy solutions that advance our goals of: (i) ensuring energy security and affordability, (ii) building new clean energy businesses, and (iii) accelerating emissions reductions. You will address critical energy “ACRE” risks-including access, cost, resiliency, and emissions-by investing in high-impact, grid-scale energy infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure strong financial and operational outcomes, support capital deployment goals, and contribute to Walmart's sustainability and decarbonization efforts.You'll join a high-performing group of professionals dedicated to transforming Walmart's energy portfolio and reducing our carbon footprint worldwide. Our team works cross-functionally with business leaders, external partners, and policy makers to deliver innovative energy solutions that strengthen the power grid, manage long-term energy costs, and create value for the communities we serve.   • Support the development and execution of Walmart's global renewable energy strategy, including managing a multi-GW portfolio of offsite projects and leading tax equity and other investment portfolios
  • Oversee risk management, performance evaluation, and optimization strategies, collaborating with internal teams and third parties
  • Analyze project data, contracts, and financials to drive improvements, solve problems, and inform strategic decisions
  • Enhance portfolio management and reporting processes, providing regular updates and forecasts to stakeholders and senior management
  • Support negotiations for long-term capital investments, ensuring effective execution of business plans and projects
