The Supervising/Collaborating Physician is responsible for providing primary care oversight for the care delivered by the nurse practitioner(s) at the Wingspan Care Group.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Provide collaboration and medical advice/guidance to the nurse practitioner(s).
- Function to comply with state medical and nursing regulatory boards through standard of care agreements.
- Review and audit clinical charts for quality assurance and regulatory compliances.
- Approve and sign standing orders for licensed nurses if needed per state law.
- Conduct physical assessments, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose and treat common conditions, provide screenings, interventions, and counseling, and prescribe medications as needed to patients.
- Conduct patient medical history and make appropriate assessments, evaluations, and interventions based on the patient’s demographic information.
- All required trainings, certifications, and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
- Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
- Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Licensure: Must have an active state medical license in Ohio.

- Experience: Experience in family medicine or internal medicine with previous experience in pediatrics.
