WAHL EMPOWERS PEOPLE TO BE THEIR BEST!Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of IT Help Desk Intern at our offices in Sterling, Illinois.This role will help support the IT Service Desk team and initiatives in IT Infrastructure. The IT intern will assist the IT Department with level 1 service desk requests, deploying & imaging laptops/PC's for the business users, as well as shadowing/learning from the other IT technicians. The IT intern will maintain a secure IT environment i.e., telecommunications infrastructure, data integrity, applications and operating systems access security as pertains to projects and areas of responsibility. We are looking for a reliable and driven individual to join the team. Participant must be flexible, detail oriented and willing to learn, but also have some working knowledge and experience in most of the requirements listed below. This position will report directly to the Senior IT Infrastructure Services Manager.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assist Service Desk with Level 0/1 tickets
User lockouts, Password resets, computer/app issues etc..
Deploy and image windows and mac laptops
Help to maintain inventory of assets
Daily resets of conference room tech to maintain functionality
Printer maintenance/troubleshooting
Shadow service desk technicians on production floor tasks
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Current undergraduate, Junior/Senior level preferred or recently graduated
Pursuing a degree or has a strong demonstrated passion for Information Systems, Computer Hardware, Networking and Technology
Experience troubleshooting windows and mac computers
Experience using Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud
Must have strong customer service skills
Must be a quick learner
Must be reliable and a self-starter
