We live by the motto “The world is our classroom.” Our historic farmland setting offers daily opportunities for students to learn through hands-on experiences, community connections, and real-world problem solving.Our Speech-Language Pathologists are key members of this learning community—helping students find their voice, communicate with confidence, and engage fully in academic and social experiences.Why You’ll Love This RoleCompetitive Salary – $70 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsSchool Year Schedule – 190 days, with built-in breaks and holidaysInnovative Learning Environment – Work in a school that integrates nature, community, and expedition-based learningSupportive Team Culture – Collaboration, problem-solving, and shared successWhat You’ll DoProvide speech-language services to students across grades PreK–8, including those with diverse learning needs (special education, at-risk, linguistically, and culturally diverse students)Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with clear goals and objectivesAdminister, interpret, and report on speech and language assessmentsCollaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student successUse a variety of instructional approaches, including cooperative learning and interdisciplinary unitsAdapt materials and methods to meet individual student needsAlign instruction and interventions with district, state, and national standardsMaintain strong classroom and session management to foster a positive learning environmentWhat We’re Looking ForRequired: Colorado Special Services Provider license with a School Speech/Language Pathologist endorsementPreferred: Endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education, or willingness to pursueExperience with diverse student populations and inclusive practicesAbility to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teamsStrong skills in assessment, IEP writing, and goal-settingMultiple special education endorsements and bilingual skills are a plusAbout Our SchoolOur school is a place where curiosity leads the way.
