Job Category: Materials and Manufacturing PlanningJob Description:Job Role DescriptionResponsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that align customer orders with available resources, ensuring products are manufactured and delivered on time. This role coordinates with production, procurement, warehouse, and quality teams to balance workloads, optimize machine and labor utilization, and respond quickly to changes in demand or production capacity. The Production Scheduler monitors progress against the plan, troubleshoots potential bottlenecks, and ensures that all scheduling decisions support efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, warehouse, and maintenance teams to ensure schedules are realistic and achievable.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to minimize downtime and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Review work orders and confirm material and resource availability before production starts.
  • Communicate schedule changes promptly to all affected teams.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling data in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Prepare and distribute production performance and capacity utilization reports.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling efficiency.
