IT SECURITY ARCHITECT

- Review, oversee and advise the delivery of security requirements on security and technology projects
- Support various security and technology projects as the security SME to ensure adherence to architecture principles, security policies and standards
- Review project designs and proposals to identify applicable security requirements
- Identify security risks against applicable security requirements and establish recommended controls and processes
- Advise and enable project teams to make security decisions and provide advice and guidance, ensuring the effective use of common tools and patterns
- Work with technical teams to guide and support implementation of technical security controls
- Lead escalation and resolution of residual project risks
- Advise project go/no-go decisions for production go-live
- Produce relevant security architecture documentation and risk artifacts
- Expected to work on multiple initiatives/deliverables simultaneously
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent years of experience - Preferred
- CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, GIAC - Preferred
- Microsoft technical certifications : Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, 365 Security Administrator - Preferred
- 5-10 years of IT Security Architecture experience
- Prior experience working for a financial institution or Big 4 consulting company
- Extensive experience performing threat modeling in project delivery using Stride framework or other similar framework (Pasta, Trike, etc.)
- Strong experience with Azure Cloud and Office 365 platform
- Virtual Server and Desktop environments : VMWare and Citrix
- Experience working with Intune and Azure Conditional Access policies
- Knowledge and familiarity with emerging technologies like AI and Blockchain is desirable
