  • Test cream, cheese, milk, whey, primary and secondary starter, brine
  • Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product
  • Run Babcock testing and moisture analysis by forced air
  • Cheese grinding and calcium testing, density and solubility of WPC
  • Use of FT 1 and Food Scan
  • Autoclave, acidity titration, use chemical dispenser, phosphatase testing
  • Micro plating, pH and salt testing
  • Upload results into SAP and excel documents
  • Report out of specification results to leadership
  • Perform pre-operational, operational, and environmental swabbing
  • Perform air monitoring and water testing
  • Maintain lab equipment cleanliness and calibrations
  • Submit cheese and swab samples for pathogen testing
You Are Best Suited For The Role If You….
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and understand instructions
  • Certified lab analyst license
  • Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices
  • Compliance with food safety policies
  • Follow GMPs and SOPs
  • Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
