We're looking for a compassionate and committed Special Education Teacher who will help students reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. As our Special Education Teacher, you will:Implement lesson plans aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Deliver targeted instruction and support for students receiving special education servicesModify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual learning needsUse data to monitor student progress and adjust supports as neededCollaborate with general education teachers to plan and deliver inclusive learning experiencesCreate a positive, structured classroom environment where students feel respected, supported, and motivatedSupport students in developing study habits, self-advocacy, and social skillsCommunicate regularly with families about student progress and IEP goalsParticipate in ARD meetings, professional development, coaching, and school eventsQualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (required)Valid Texas Special Education Certification (required)At least one year of successful teaching experience strongly preferredWe prioritize candidates who can show evidence of student success—this can include:Achievement dataPortfolios or student work samplesRecommendation lettersCommitment to continuous professional growthAbility to attend de-escalation and crisis prevention training as requiredBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience and demonstrated resultsSign-on bonuses and stipends available for teachers with a record of student successComprehensive health insurance optionsParticipation in retirement plansWeekly coaching and professional developmentA supportive, collaborative staff environmentOur Core Values
