The Challenge: We're looking for a Systems Engineer with expertise in Linux to be part of a team supporting implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance for new and existing infrastructures. You'll assist with systems administration, systems integration, network engineering, and configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of software services. You'll perform Linux system setup and management, research, evaluate, and recommend methods and products for protecting computer data and applications, and develop supporting technical documentation. You will play a crucial role in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving system issues. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamwork through challenges and develop new methodologies. You Have: * Experience with Red Hat Linux background * Experience with network hardware and configuration, routing requirements, mission hosting * Experience with domain name service, Network time Protocols, enterprise messaging, and file forwarding service * Experience with scripting languages to include bash shell scripting * Knowledge of systems and Network Administration experience * Knowledge of Java Messaging Service (JMS) messaging, ssh, firewalls, VMWare, and Esx Server * TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph * BA or BS degree or 7 years of experience in a professional work environment with system engineering Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
