
Outside Sales Representative-Board and Panels

- Increase Board and Panel product sales as a specialist in those categories, selling directly and partnered with others
- Schedule and hold face-to-face meetings with new and existing customers, learning about their business and how Richelieu product solutions can enhance their results
- Maintain accountability for the growth of your territory, both through new customer acquisition as well as the development of existing relationships
- Identify and analyze past buying patterns of current accounts, and brainstorm ways to become their stronger, more inclusive supplier
- Provide a state of the art customer service experience, positioning yourself as their desired one-stop shop
- Educate yourself on, and continuously stay up to date with, Richelieu's product offerings as well as ever-changing market conditions and competitive analysis
- Hold responsibility for system information and reporting in CRM application
- As this position requires regular automobile travel, you must have your own independent, reliable transportation. This position requires you to work "in the field," making in-person visits to customers three to four days per week
- Position may require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 pounds
- Successful outside sales experience with wood panels, laminates, and boards (ideally in the kitchen and/or bath space)
- Passionate, proactive, coachable, strong work ethic
- Ability to schedule and manage your own time, delivering on the activities that produce results
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical, planning, organizing, and monitoring skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications; able to effectively use Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams for daily responsibilities and tasks
- Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software an asset
- University degree preferred, but not required
- Base salary plus unlimited monthly commissions, quarterly and annual bonuses
